An original song can start with a very simple vocal idea from you, which we can develop into a finished track. Or, maybe you have an existing song recorded that needs updating with new, modern production. What ever you need, we make the process very easy, cost effective and deliver super professional productions.
If you are a little shy, don't worry! We have worked with over a thousand singers and, like a doctor, have seen it all! Our job is not to judge you, our job is to work with you to get the best from your personal experience level, style and technique. Whether we're working with absolute beginners, or signed professionals, we always give you 100%.

How will the recording session work?
On the day of recording your song, we would set out a structure suitable for completing your song on budget, and to the highest standard possible. As a guide, the day would run something like this;
- We start by listening to any songs that you like in the charts or on youtube etc so that we are both clear on what direction to take your music. These are simply used as a reference point.
- Next we would work out the chords to your song and the tempo (this is the skeleton of your song).
- From there we would build the instruments up, layering and creating the tones, colours and energy required to make your song sound powerful and professional.
- When the music is 80% complete we can start looking at vocals, including harmonies, lead vocals and adlibs. We would arrange the vocals in a way that is right for your song and preferred style. We can advise on all areas of the vocal production.
- Finally we can go ahead and complete the production and add any extra instruments/sounds around the vocals and finish off with mixing and mastering the song to add that final clarity and warmth. Mastering typically costs between £45 and £75, however when you book with us you will get this done within your hourly fee, which means practically free song mastering.
Can you provide musicians?
Our producers will be able to play all the instruments and that is included in the hourly rate. If however you need something specific then we can arrange for outside musicians to come in. We also have session singers available if needed.
How much does it cost to do a fully produced song?
We charge £35 per hour. Most songs are completed in 7 hours. This includes:
- Initial planning of instruments needed. We can book musicians if needed but we play most instruments used in the majority of songs.
- Arrangement where needed. We can advice on changes and possible improvements to your song if you would like our input.
- Full music production, no limit on how many instruments are recorded.
- Mixing
- Mastering
- 3 CDs of your finished song(s). Extra CD charged at £1 each.
