Is Cubase SX Better than Logic?
Countless hit singles have been made on both platforms. Both Cubase and Logic are means of manipulating sounds, yet Logic comes with a bigger spectrum of sounds/effects.
However, for the same price (or less) as buying a mac book pro and logic, you can buy world class 'external Plugins' sounds/effects specifically for Cubase SX making it extremely powerful.
All in all, both have their advantages and for us using world-famous music production application Cubase SX with external sounds is the set up we prefer for a very affordable and powerful set up capable of being updated with more 'external Plugins'' easily, meaning you stay on top of your game always!
Price for 5 Day Course
The total cost is £250. That is about the price to record one demo, except after this intense 5 Day course you'll be able to do your own demos for the rest of your life!
Lessons are 2 hours in length apart from the lesson with real client which is 4 hours minimum. Lessons can be held at the weekend or everyday for 5 days. Class size between 1-3 people. Price per hour works out at aprox £20 p/hour (12-14 hours in total)
Many courses will show you the long way to do things ... or dare I say, the 'around-about-way', which is why they can justify having year long courses and charging thousands of pounds. You don't need to know the complete workings of either Cubase or Logic to produce like the pro's, most of what you may learn on a year long course you will never ever use.
What you need is to know is what the big boys do and how they do it so quickly and effortlessly! 99% of our productions use simple, repeatable techniques that can be taught in very little time and produce outstanding results.
