What is the platinum Package?
The Platinum Package is a very detailed and thorough development of yourself and your music. Many singers are very clued up about production quality and will research who is the best producer for their material. But, very few will research songwriters, preferring instead to 'give it a go' and pen their own songs. The fact is that the song is more important that the production. Almost all big named artists in the pop world used outside songwriters for their first breakthrough single, and there is a good reason.
A record label invests a lot of money in breaking an artist and have to be as close to 100% sure they have a hit on their hands before doing so, that is why the debut single have to be stunning, not just very good or good enough. The Platinum Package is high quality song writing, production and artist development in one complete package.

Olympia, a London based female singer asked us to write and produce two songs. We went for a Soca/R&B style that worked well with Olympia's vocal style and target market. After completion, Olympia went to work with some of America's biggest writers and producers, including Davinchi.
After recording an albums worth of material, Olympia was offered a recording contract and the first two singles chosen by the label were the two we wrote and produced. Olympia is currently filming videos to the two songs and has been asked to do a remix of the song with super group Outcast. |

False Economy
A typical experience many singers have is to do 4 or 5 demos. Each demo costs approximately £200. The problem is that whilst many people can write a song, they haven't experienced the extreme competition at a professional level of songwriting and they run the risk of wasting good money to get average songs produced! We have spent years crafting songs, have written top 10 hits, music for film and TV adverts along with developing artist that have signed recording contracts. We've built a real understanding of what it takes to succeed. Furthermore, our relationships with record label A&R over the years has given us a grounding and realistic approach to artist development.

Why working backwards makes more sense
Instead of writing songs and saying to yourself, 'I hope the record labels like my new material - because I do!' , we work backwards, by first contacting label A&R and asking them what they think is likely to be hot next year, what's being signed right now, have they heard any new sounds in the office etc. Of course they can not predict the future, but they have a much better idea than anyone else about movements in the industry. Any hints and tips from these guys can help us shape your songs development. Also, we find that they will show much more interest in the development of the song if we have spoken prior to completion. Remember, it is these people that will ultimately decide if they want to sign you or not so we start by talking to as many people as possible as basic ground work to your song and image. |

Case Study #2
Becka came to us wanting a similar sound to India Arie. We wrote and produced 4 songs which involved jamming with a band several times. Ultimately Becka ended up impressing India Aries manager with the songs so much that he signed her to his label! Becka currently records and lives in LA.
Case Study #3
Femi (see video above) decided to go ahead with the platinum package after recording several songs with us. Almost as soon as we finished he was approached by an African label and continues to record with us for his debut album. Femi is currently shooting his first video.
Case Study #4
Martina wanted to have a unique sound. We decided on a blend of Motown and Electro. With one song recorded, Martina was offered a recording contract with Plaque Records.
Case Study #5
Loco, a female Reggaeton artists co-wrote 3 songs with us. The songs were all considered to be a single but Loco decided to turn down her record deal offer due to personal reasons. However, we were thrilled that the songs achieved an offer and we believe they opened up many doors for Loco.
