How to get a record deal
I have secured numerous record deals for artists and the way I do it is very different to how many "gurus" say it should be done.
There's so much information out there, lots of "how to" articles, but I suspect most of these articles are written by people who have never actually secured a recording contract. Real life is often very different to theory!
There's lots of talk about building a following, submitting demos and playing lots of gigs but that stuff never worked for me. Perhaps it hasn't worked for you either?
For 15 years I toured the world as a drummer. My main band signed to Island Records and I ultimately turned to full time music production in about 2004. You can learn more about me here, but the main point is I know what I'm talking about and can offer some credibility on the topic.
After many years offering advice to musicians who used our London recording studio I began to offer one to one advice. This enabled me to really spend time getting to know the person and help formulate a 'plan of action' for them.
However, many musicians either don't want a face to face meeting or can't make it to London so we developed this online course which addresses a lot of the main issues that musicians face.
