What sort of gear do you guys have in your studios?

Each one of our studios has different recording equipment and whilst we use analogue vocal compressors, pre amps and some hardware keyboards, we tend to prefer to use high end digital recording equipment for it's superb results, ease of use and to implement the cost benefits onto our customers.

Digital recording equipment, high end VST Plugins and effects nowadays are incredibly powerful. We use a variety of these, along side quality samples to creatively produce stunning results for our clients.

Our largest studio is packed with high end analogue and digital gear with a booth large enough for drums. We use Cubase and Logic and have so many plug ins and samples that we just couldn't list them here!

Out of your four studios, how many are commercial and how many are residential?

We have two commercial studios and two residential.

Why do you use residential studios?

Because there are much less overheads which brings the overall cost down for our customers, and because there is no difference in the sound produced.

Why do you use commercial studios?

Because they are larger and can house a live band when required.

Which produce the better results?

There is no difference. All of our studios produce extremely professional results and have done so for signed artists and record label releases.

In fact, with the power and accuracy of today's digital gear, hit singles are being produced with smaller and smaller set ups. We have heard of several world class producers who have recorded in a hotel room using nothing more than a laptop and mic - In fact we did that a couple years ago when we recorded platinum US artist Kevin Lyttle!!

The room plays very little importance to your recordings, it's the sounds you use and the experience and ears of the producer/engineer that will give you world class productions.
