Darren aka 'Ghost' Monson is a songwriter/producer. He started his musical career as a drummer, playing and touring with signed bands for over a decade. It was his later involvement in music production that lead him to found the London Apple Beam Recording Studios in 2004 with guitarist, Tom Jensen.
Darren has worked with platinum artists such as Kevin Lyttle, Ariana Grinblat and Moly from The Saturdays. He has also written and produced more than 2000 songs, achieving many commercial releases included a Japanese top 10 hit single for Leah Dizon as well as Nintendo DS' national ad campaign which featured the newly signed City Girls (Darren produced their début single also).
Alongside music production, Darren has successfully developed artists from a standing start to record deal and continues to work with many musicians.
Darren has worked as A&R which gives him a uniquely "rounded" insight into the workings of the industry. He founded the song pitching platform Audio Rokit, which enabled more than 200 musicians to sign music deals in it's first year of business.
